Become a Volunteer


It is never too early to think about how you might
contribute to your Guild’s operations.  Volunteering for a position is the best way to meet and get to know other Guild members.  Each year the Past President is
responsible for recruiting individuals to fill the
following positions:

Executive positions:  President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Librarian (and assistants);
Newsletter Editor (and assistant), Membership (and assistants) , Program ( usually 2), Cuddle Quilts
Coordinator (and committee members)

Past President position is acclaimed.

Committee positions:  Block Lottery, Blade Sharpener, Christmas Party, Historian, In Club Quilt, Phone
Captain, Publicity, Secret Pals, Social Coordinator.

Because of the technical/sensitive nature of the
following positions are not typically filled by election.  However, assistants or committee assistants may be sought:   Archivist and Web Administrator

There are typically about 3-4 meetings a year for the full executive and committee heads.

Recruitment to fill the slate begins about January for elections at the Spring business meeting in April.
